Offering increased tensile and shear strengths over break stem rivets, one of our fast growing products is the structural rivet.

Designed for single sided applications where a heavy load bearing fastener is required, structural rivets are available in a wide variety of sizes including 4.8mm, 6.4mm and in some instances 9.7mm. The most popular applications use 4.8mm and 6.4mm sizes.

Unlike break stem rivets, structural rivets have an internal mandrel locking feature within the head providing a high quality vibration-resistant joint, along with a multi grip range feature. This means two sizes of rivet can cover a range of 1.0mm through to 16.0mm simply and effectively offering a cost effective means of fastening.

Structural rivets are available in aluminium, steel and stainless steel in 2 different head styles. The Dome head is the most versatile style and used in most standard installations whilst a Counter sunk style is adopted where the rivet needs to be set flush into the installation providing a flat surface with no projection from the rivet.

Used extensively in many different areas of industry including the automotive industry, commercial vehicles, HVAC and construction structural rivets are ideal where reliable high performance fasteners are required.
